Join the Georgia Center for the Book and the Decatur Arts Alliance in the Fourth Floor Gallery of Decatur Library for Last Call, the closing reception for Small Changes: Fine Arts Exhibition. We will have refreshments and a short presentation (more information coming soon), but most importantly, this is your last chance to see this incredible work! Registration is required, as capacity is limited. The event is happening after normal library hours, so please enter through the main level, rear doors (off of the top floor of the parking deck). There is plenty of free parking behind the library (the parking garage has two levels), but if it's full, you can find other parking throughout Decatur here.
Come by for a few minutes, or hang out for a while—either way we can't wait to see you there!
The Fine Arts Exhibition is back as part of the 2023 Decatur Arts Festival, with a few “small changes.” The show is in the newly renovated Fourth floor gallery of the Decatur Library; running a little earlier, from May 4 to June 16; and is centered around a theme for the first time ever. The theme is “Small Changes,” and the artwork on display will be no larger than 24 inches in any direction. Gallery Hours are Thursday -Saturday, 1:00- 5:00 pm, and by appointment. The Closing Reception, and last chance to see the work, will be from 6:30 - 9:30 on June 16th.
More information, including the catalogue for the show, is available here.
