Nathalie Dupree is one of America's foremost chefs and cookbook authors. She has helped to bring the art of Southern cooking to nationwide attention, and through her televised programs, writings and teachings she contributed to Atlanta's emergence as a "food town." She also founded an influential cooking school at Rich's in Atlanta in 1975. Among the best-known of her nine books are "New Southern Cooking" (1986-reprint 2004) and "Nathalie Dupree's Southern Memories" (1993-reprint 2004).
