Poetry Atlanta presents another night of poetry, featuring Andrea Jurjević and Robert Wood. Andrea Jurjević is a native of Croatia. Her poems, as well as her translations of contemporary Croatian poetry, have appeared in EPOCH, TriQuarterly, Best New Poets, the Missouri Review, The Journal, and Gulf Coast, among others. Small Crimes, which won the Levine Prize for Poetry, is her debut collection. Robert E. Wood teaches in the School of Literature, Media, and Communication at Georgia Tech. His poetry has appeared in Southern Humanities Review, South Carolina Review, North Dakota Quarterly, Poets and Artists, and Prairie Schooner. His book of ekphrastic poetry, The Awkward Poses of Others was awarded Author of the Year in Poetry by the Georgia Writers Association. His latest work is Alms for Oblivion from Finishing Line Press.
