Postponed - Revival - Lost Southern Voices IV: A Festival for Readers

Decatur Library Auditorium

March 27, 2020, 12:00 p.m.

The safety of our community is our highest priority at Georgia State University and at the Georgia Center for the Book. Out of an abundance of caution regarding the current coronavirus situation, Revival: Lost Southern Voices IV—A Festival for Readers is being postponed until October 9-10, 2020. Join us for Revival - Lost Southern Voices: A Festival for Readers. This two-day festival begins March 27, 2020, at noon and ends at 4 p.m. on March 28, 2020. It features readings and performances of work by those Southern voices deserving to be rediscovered, revived, and reread. Invited writers and scholars will discuss their favorite authors whose works no longer receive the attention and reading they deserve. This event is free, and the public, scholars, students, writers, and lovers of good books are all invited to join us for this event. 2020 Presenters include Valerie Boyd, Jessica Handler, Jessica Lindberg, Nicole Stamant, Susan Rebecca White, and more. Please visit their website here for more information and the full schedule of panels and events, once it’s released. Books will be available to purchase throughout the festival. Come for one session, the whole festival, or anything in between!
